About Not My Bill Coalition

Not My Bill is a Montana nonprofit organization working to protect ratepayers, water rights holders, and communities from the unchecked costs of large-scale data center development. The coalition's three policy pillars are ratepayer cost protection, water rights, and transparency — including ending non-disclosure agreements that obscure the true terms of development deals from the public.
The Yellowstone County initiative is one of several local organizing efforts Not My Bill is supporting across Montana, providing legal petition templates, policy research, and organizing infrastructure to communities seeking a democratic voice in these decisions.
